The Members strongly condemn the forced landing of a passenger flight in Minsk and detention of Belarusian journalist Raman Pratasevich and Sofia Sapega.
This 'hijacking' constituted an act of state terrorism and the EU must sanction those involved.
The Members demand that Belarus be suspended from international sport events like European and world championships and the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
